This 1918 lithograph was issued for the week of November 11 as part of the United War Work Campaign, a joint fundraising drive for wartime service organizations. Its sponsors, the National Catholic War Council and the Knights of Columbus, ran welfare programs for Catholic servicemen, and the slogan "See him through" asks viewers to keep supporting the men overseas. The poster was printed in color by the Burton Rice American Lithographic Company of New York, a commercial firm that produced many wartime posters. The campaign week coincided with the armistice, so the appeal reached the public just as the fighting ended.
