Carole Landis and Cesar Romero share top billing on this color poster for Twentieth Century-Fox's *Dance Hall*, issued around 1941 in a tall, narrow format. Landis was still building her reputation as a leading lady then, and she later became known for entertaining American troops overseas during the Second World War. The poster shows how studios of the period marketed romance and musical entertainment, with bold color and star names meant to draw crowds to neighborhood theaters.
