Check out the Milwaukee area restaurant guide:

http://www.tosaweb.com/marg/tmarg.htm

My son in law adores Mader's (German), but there are others that are also quite good. We also LOVE the ribs at the Machine Shed in Pewaukee... Milwaukee is a delightful surprise for restaurants with decent prices and a wide selection of cuisine. If you're into Transmedia, there is a long list on their website (www.transmediacard.com).

If you need any more info, I'll be glad to help when my daughter and soninlaw return from their honeymoon!

Joey's (formerly Joe & Mario's) is very good Italian. The King and I has excellent Thai.

German: Karl Ratsch's, just behind the Pfister Hotel, is one of the best in the country. My wife still raves about the pork knuckle.

I went to a Serbian place a few years ago called The Three Brothers and thought it was outstanding.
