We moved out of the area a little over a year ago, so I hope this info is still current. There was a good Thai place in Appleton near the college campus right on the main drag. The name escapes me now, but it came highly recommended to us by a friend who had lived in Thailand for a few years. There is not much in the way of Asian in GB. There was a Thai place (Thai Orchid?) on the west side of the new Main St. Nitschke Bridge, but we never went there. The best restaurant of any type in GB is Bistro John Paul on Main St. The owners used to have La Bonne Femme in town but moved a few blocks when the lease ran out. Very good French bistro cuisine, attentive service, homey yet romantic setting. Of course, Titletown Brewing Company in the old train station is really good standby. More creative cuisine than you might expect at a brew pub, but with enough standards on the menu to make anyone feel at home. Like I said, it has been over year since we lived in GB, so use this info at your own risk :-) John Someone wrote: > Can anyone recommend any good restaurants in Green Bay or Appleton, > Wisconsin area?
