I think Pandasia has gone downhill. The wedgewood and interbay restaurants which were owned by the same people split up into two separate businesses. Interbay has changed their menu. Wedgewood has changed their name. I've been disappointed the last few times I was at the interbay restaurant and don't feel compelled to go back. Judy Fu's Snappy Dragon at 8917 Roosevelt Way NE has menu items very similar to those that I liked at Pandasia (and Panda's before that) such as Lovers Eggplant and Homemade Chowmein noodles, etc.. I'm sorry I don't have any good Magnolia/Interbay suggestions.

Pandasia - Was: Magnolia?
there's a little place, don't know the name...never been there...but I'm still gonna say it. My friends from mongolia have been there. it's just down the street, about half a block south, of the thriftway on the northern end of the hill. It's in a white-painted house, serving weekend brunch, and it's to the point now where people don't go there because it's so crowded. Let me know if it's good or if my friends just wanna imagine they live near a breakfast place. ~tom

She is now at her own place-Snappy Dragon)Their veggie or pork potstickers are great. And whatever you do, do not forget to order their Mu Shu Pork. In reality, the fried rice is the only thing bad on the menu. And if driving to Interbay is not your thing, there is another Pandasia in Wedgewood at about 65th St. I am sorry that you had a bad experience. I would hope that you give it another chance, and possibly try some of these suggestions. While it is quite possible that it has gone downhill, I would give it a second chance. If not, please try the Snappy Dragon on Roosevelt at about 90th. The homeade noodles and eggplant are wonderful dishes. alan

Have never tried Pandasia and it sound like I never will. If you are looking for places in Magnolia/Interbay area, try the places at Fisherman's Terminal, The Bay, Chinooks, Little Chinooks and the Tavern ( I don't remember the name, but it had good fish and chips last time I was there. On the south end of Magnolia, there is Maggie Bluffs and Palisades. If you cross the Ballard bridge and head toward Golden Gardens, you will find many good places to eat
