McCormick&Schmick's is fine. Elliot's is fine. For *great* seafood I
would recommend Etta's. Elliot's has the best view of the three, hands
down though. Ponti rates highly as well. Decisions, decisions.....

 Slightly commercial blurb:

For info on a number of very good local seafood restaurants:

 Enjoy!

Good point, Alan. Though I'm not sure I'd call Etta's "Pan Asian", it
definitely is more trendy in its approach to dishes while McCormick's
and Elliott's take more traditional paths. Ponti is another eclectic
 place as well.

I guess I could/should have mentioned that the URL I included provides
menus for each place - but I was trying to avoid "commercialism".
Though that would justifiably have been providing information so people
 could choose for themselves.

There's always those choices between succinctness and completeness.

For other traditional seafood there's also McCormick's Fish House and
the Salty's locations as well as Ray's Boathouse.

For trendy Euro style (somewhat) Pescatore at the locks in Ballard would
 rate well.

It'll be interesting to see what Barbara Figueroa does to the menu at
Ivar's. Maybe that place will be something special again.
