I second the recommendation...enthusiastically. IMO it's one of Seattle's best restuarants. Ludger Szmania is German. His menu isn't, but often contains one or two items or specials native to Germany (the Sauerbraten is fantastic!). He was for some time the head Chef at the Olympic Four Seasons hotel, and he runs a great kitchen. Leave room for dessert, too. You won't be sorry. Chas.
