Mikey's Cheesesteaks and Chili (Kenmore)

 Hi, all ...

I went to this place today, and thought I'd mention them here, because
they seem like a good bunch of people and they're trying to get off the
 ground.

Mikey's is a fast-food diner, but they're trying to make as many of
their materials as possible on the premises. The specialties are
cheesesteak sandwiches (Mikey's follows Philadelphia customs closely,
but uses fresh local ingredients) and chili dogs. Of these latter there
are two sizes: the Chili Willie Weenie and the Chili Willie Wanger.
 (Yes, seriously.)

My wife and I thought the food was excellent and we liked the thoughtful
touches around the place (for example, the soft-drink counter had a
button for added soda water, allowing the customer to fine-tune the mix
to his or her preference). If you find yourself in Darkest Kenmore, near
Juanita Road on State 522, and you need a quick bite, Mikey's is worth
 keeping in mind.

P.S.: You cannot get a bowl of Life cereal there, to the best of my
 knowledge.
