I work right around the corner from the Boat Street Cafe, and it is probably the only DECENT place to eat within walking distance of the UWMC. The chicken/smoked mozzarella sandwiches are to die for. We won't go into the desserts. Suffice it to say that it has seemed prudent to call UWMC down the street and reserve a room.... > > On Wed, 12 Jun 1996, Allan R. wrote: > > I will be in Seattle this weekend doing some business at the > > University of Washington Medical Center. Consistently good food, nice atmosphere...what more could you want?? Other restaurants close to the UWMC are Cafe Lago on 24th for great Italian food, although it is a little LOUD in there...I am more of a fan of white tablecloths/napkins than I am of the glass-cover over-tablecloth genre. But their ravioli is great. Julie ============================================================================== "The bad end unhappily, the good, unluckily.
