Eats near University?

Ivar's Salmon House has delicious food, good service, great view,
interesting Northwest Native American decor. The prices are good. If you
are early I've heard their happy hour is sensational. They have both
inside dining (my preference) and a carry out service seafood bar on the
outside of the restaurant. If you opt for the carry out they have outside
 tables near the water.

My other recommendation is Arnie's. If you go early, I think
before 6:00 pm, they have specially priced 4 course dinners that are great
choices. You could eat for less than $15. They specialize in seafood, but
have other choices. I have always been delighted with the food. The view
 is Lake Union.

Both of these places are within a mile of the University.

North 45th, in Wallingford, has a large variety of restaurants,
most of them good. There is Ethiopian, Thai, Italian, Japanese, Indian,
Chinese, Spanish, Greek (Nicolas, my favorite), hot wings, Mexican (do not
go to Guadalajara), Irish, a tea house and many more. This is a
neighborhood about a mile from the University and these restaurants within
 walking distance of each other.

Enjoy Seattle, I hope we have nice weather for you.

Try Piatti in University Village (S of Eddie Bauer). Great Italian restaurant.

Some great places for some casual grubbin':
-Atlantic St Pizza on University Ave for some bold, heavy pizza.
  -Shultzy's Sausages on the Ave.
