Two thoughts:

(1) Crisfield's on Georgia Ave. in Silver Spring. The atmosphere isn't classy, but the food is wonderful -- real classic Maryland seafood with some of the best crab imperial, steamed clams, oysters on the half shell, fries, and seafood bisque around.

(2) Black's Grill in Bethesda. Owned by the former chef at Kinkeads. Be sure to make a reservation, but it's just great for seafood and otherwise.
