Try the Santa Fe Cafe in Rosslyn, on Wilson Blvd. across the street from the Safeway (in the building with the large, colorful "Anna and David" statue). I haven't been there in a couple of years, but used to work in Rosslyn and ate there a lot. Here's what I remember: It's a good, quick casual place for lunch (but get there early, esp. if you go on "Fajita Friday"). At lunch it's counter service for the office crowd....my favorites are black bean soup and guacamole tacos. At dinner they lower the lights, break out the tablecloths and do table service. Still very casual, but usually very quiet, unlike a lot of TexMex places that are just too loud & bustling. At dinnertime, they offer great margaritas and an expanded menu w/ some really good choices.

Hmm, it's been too long since we ate there...I hope dearly that it's still open and hasn't changed much; the owner, Kip, was always such a friendly, easy-going guy. I always like spending my money at Mom & Pop places like that.
