The Appollo restaurant is a Greek style diner in downtown Rockville (North Washington street, approximately accross the street from Magruders and the courthouse). I can't vouch for it- I haven't been there in years, but if you're into the Greek style diners, this one's still there.

you need d.c. cafe, at 22nd(?) and p. much like g'town cafe,
only less diner-like and with a much better cheesesteak. (i don't even know if g'town cafe has a cheesesteak, actually, because it would pale in comparison to the d.c. cafe one; i've never even bothered to ask.) if it were _before_ 4 am, what you would need (if, of course, you like cheesesteaks as much as i do) would be george's townhouse ("the king of falafel and cheesesteak"), open till 4 am on fri. and sat. nights. by far the best late night cuisine in dc, until george decided he was feeling old and cut back the hours.
