Can anyone tell us more about this place -- where > it is, what kind of food, whether they liked it? The Old Angeler's Inn is located on the way to the C&O canal park. It is about 1 1/2 mile before the park entrance on a curve on the road. My wife and I went to the Old Anglers' Inn for lunch. It is French and will set you back a bit. Our lunch was over $50 before tip. It was very formal except for the pepper grinder. We were amused with the waiter who pressed a button on a cylander which made a high pitched grinding sound and turned on a small light. This electric pepper grinder/flashlight really seamed out of place in this very old fashioned building (about 200 years old). I might go back but it would have to be a special occasion and I would be ready to drop $75-$100 on dinner, dessert, and drinks. I might also mention that we had been walking the C&O canal and were a *bit* underdressed for the place. -- Pat -------------------------------------> [email removed]
