Good ethnic scene in general. Chinese, Viet, Thai, Iranian.

Many of the best places are in the 'burbs. Will you have a car? What area are you going to be staying in?

A few tips:
Kolbeh (Iranian) at 1645 Wisconsin, NW (upper Georgetown).

The Iranian place across the street from Kolbeh.

Dona Flor (Brazilian) at 44xx Wisconsin, NW (Tenleytown)

The Dancing Crab (Maryland-style crab house) next door to Dona Flor.

These last two are close to the Red Line.
