DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. MEDIOCRE FOOD, REALLY LOUSY SERVICE. Went at lunchtime - place was empty, maybe two other tables occupied (occupants arrived after we did). Service was still abysmal. Both of us ordered the grilled tuna salads. I asked for no avocado and the fish moist/underdone. I got avocado and raw fish. Yes. Raw. Nearly sushi. It was seared on the outside but ice cold on the inside. It took nearly 10 minutes to get someone's attention to take it back - our waitress had disappeared. The booth was uncomfortable, the surroundings generally unpleasant. The menu looked promising, if trendy - but the salad's main attribute was size. Cheap shredded cheddar, tasteless salsa, a mountain of greens (albeit very fresh greens). The tuna itself was OK. All in all, way too much for a person with a normal appetite. Not only do I dislike feeling like a glutton, I also dislike wasting food (salads don't keep well, although I tried). Oh, and it was absolutely freezing in there. Took 10 minutes to get someone's attention to get the check and another five minutes before they brought the credit card and receipt back. All this time, the place was still empty.

Lots of great restaurants in Bethesda. Over 150 of them. You could go to a different place every Saturday for nearly three years. Why go to this mediocre place with lousy service?
