I was there yesterday. There is construction at the Lightfoot exit and you can no longer take an immediate left. At the exit, turn right for about 1/2 mile and take the first left to reach the access road. You'll then snake back to the highway and parallel 64 to reach Pierce's, about 2 miles on your right.

They also have a store in Watersides in downtown Norfolk.

There is another institution that you have to go to at Virginia
Beach. Blue Pete's down close to Sand Bridge ( where almost every thing is fried to death) is about the most popular and long lasting place there. And they do have some great sweet potato bisquits.

Good North Carolina BBQ can be found at the beach at Beach Bully's, off Laskin Rd. near the beach. There's also an Outback Steakhouse further out on Laskin. Laskin Rd. is reached from I-44 or East on Virginia Beach Blvd. and runs to the Oceanfront.

There are some family places out by Lynnhaven Mall, like Olive Garden.
