Thanks. > Steve Italian would be Villa Tregara which is on the way to Stowe. For Burlington, a new restaurant just opened off Church Street in an alley. Serves and makes great gourmet pizzas and other foods. Sorry, not in phone book and I can't remember thename. But if you are staying in a Hotel or motel they should know. The restaurant before was called Alfredo's, so you can look up the address. Mexican would be Tortilla Flats Greek would be Mycanos Village Vegetarian try 5 Spices. Also we have a spectacular Vietnamese restaurant called Saigon Cafe where they have a Vegetarian menu as well. The India House has a Vegetarian menu as does a wonderful Chinese Restaurant called The Silver Palace. There is also a restaurant called NECI. New England Culinary Institute has opened a restaurant on Church Street, a main business and shopping area. Top rated. We also have great Japanese food. There are quite a few good restaurants. RuthP

RuthP gave lots of recommendations (and there is no shortage of restaurants in that area), but I'll give you a couple of my perrenial favorites which weren't asked about. For breakfast, I always liked Henry's Diner (downtown) and Sneakers (Winooski). For lunch and dinner, Waterworks (in the Champlain Mill, Winooski) was also a favorite, and on my last last visit, I tried a barbecue restaurant on Rt. 7 (Shelbourne Road) that was pretty good.
