My wife and I had a superb experience just a couple of weeks ago. We got "skunked" at Capitol Reef NP when all of the camp sites were taken. We decided to go into Torrey (Utah) to a private CG. After setting up our tent and a hour and a half run up to the observation point in the park, we passed and pulled into Cafe Diablo in Torrey for what we though was going to be a helping of nachos and salsa. What we found was a first class restaurant experiencing its first "legal" day in business for the 1995 season. Trout drenched in pumpkin batter, home made salsa, terrific appys and desserts. Expect to pay about $20 a person with a beer or glass of wine. We'll do it again next year - even it we have to go a couple huyndred miles out of our way. It's well worth it!
