The best beer is at "Squatters". In particular, at the moment they have cask-conditioned Cole's Best Bitter on the hand pump. One of the best English-style real ales I've had stateside. The swan-neck style pump put a little two much air into the first pint I ordered, but the second pint was perfect in all respects. A yellowish ale, hoppy but not bitter-hoppy or fruity-hoppy like most U.S. ales... they went to the trouble of buying British hops. :) Reminds me of, say, a St. Austell's Tinner's Ale. Food at Squatters is unremarkable. I recall better food at Red Rocks brewing, but their beer is inferior. Steve
