Quite exceptional food, wine list and service. has been for years and years. It's odd that the only other major attractions in Waterhouses, apart from the village itself, which is very pretty, is a Bicycle Rental and a Cement factory. If you go there you must check out the Yew Tree pub, on the side road through the Blue Circle cement works. (turn South at the Crown pub, don't go into the Crown pub) The Yew Tree is (or has been) probably one of the most unique drinking experiences in the country and cheap too.
