Hi

The post about *good* Chinese take-aways in Northampton spurred me to share the following restaurant with you all.

The Emperor
Lincoln Road
Peterborough
Cambs

The restaurant is run by Tony a very helpful and affable chap who provides good food in clean and atmospheric surroundings, the staff are also very good. The menu is varied and has a range of dishes and prices
>from £3.50 to £9.00 on main courses. My main enthusiasm for this
restaurant is that they will cook you what you want if it is not on the menu.

The smoked shredded chicken starter is wonderful, but if you ask them to they will do it as a prawn dish - which is to die for (so my SO tells me). A telephone call to check table availability is always worth while, but we eat there at 17:30 most days and will not start to get busy until at least 18:30.

Enjoy
