Hi Anna, I'm in Appleby for the next 3 weeks, and nearly everybody here has said that :) I may go tonight, and try it out!

Im a newcomer to the group but i must say, im surprised anyone still rates Rusholme at all. I havent had a decent curry there for years. I pop back now and again each time trying a different place, but i generally leave feeling dissapointed. An Indian guy once told me it had gone downhill because most of the restaurants were now owned by Bangladeshis as oppose to Indians. Sunnar Gow in Bolton is the place to go if your in the area.

Without looking at the site, and having eaten there last year,

>from memory:

it's in the old town, it's a Robinsons pub which sells a good pint, and the restaurant is run by an Asian chap who allegedly formerly ran a restaurant in Rusholme.

The food is advertised as genuine Rusholme Asian cooking, and it is. AFAIR.

And I enjoyed it.

Cheers
