The Great Wall Of China, Tooley Street, London SE1 (I believe) in the shadow of Tower Bridge on London's south bank. What's your favourite?

The Water Sky in Fleet because
1. the lettuce wrapped chicken is just like the lettuce wrapped pigeon in Hong Kong
2. you get as many dishes as you can eat for £14.95
3. Crab claws. Need I say more?
4. It's within walking distance of home.

It is worth driving to Manchester just for the Yang Sing (book first). Try scallops with walnuts & asparagus. It is the best Chinese restaurant outside Hong Kong in my humble. In London, The Mayflower, Shaftsbury Avenue. Choy Gin!

Wing Wah, Aston, Birmingham.

Absolutely superb, succulent Char Sui Chow Fan that tastes like it was properley 'chow'ed, Chow Mein likewise.

Starters are exemplary, they aren't offended if you can't use Chopsticks, and the price is fair as well.

For takeaway, China Kitchen in Swansea or Port Talbot (run be the same family). I've known the Lees for several years, and no-one makes a better fu yung in my opinion.

Favourite: Da hu Peking Duck, but that's 16,000 km away.

In London, New World on Little Gerrard. Best Yum Cha (Dim Sum) I have found so far.
