Normally, I wouldn't take the time to comment on a chinese buffet. In my experience, the typical buffet has 1 or 2 dishes that are okay while the rest either: (a) are too greasy, (b) taste like all the other dishes, or (c) are so visually unappealing that they are passed over. Marco Polo thankfully was an exception to the general rule. We decided to try it (on the northwest corner of I35 and Oltorf -- it's connected to a Days Inn) based on some general positive feedback in this newsgroup. We were not disappointed in the least. For ~$5, we both had very satisfying meals. It was not crowded at all on a Saturday afternoon. I understand, however, that it picks up substantially during the week. The majority of dishes ranged from above average to excellent. The lo mein was some of the best I've had in recent memory. Though I am not a big fan of cold spring rolls, my fiancee really enjoyed them. The sesame chicken and potstickers were really good as well. In a nutshell, it felt as if we had ordered about 20 or so dishes at a pretty good chinese restaurant and were sharing it family-style with else. YMMV
