Tonight I stumbled into Java Noodle House at 2400 East Oltorf. It is fabulous Indonesian -- sort of a cross between Thai and Chinese. I had tried Indonesian food in Amsterdam and wasn't much of a fan of the cuisine. But then I tasted the fare at Java Noodles and was quite impressed. The noodles are homemade. The food is spicy, but deliciously well-prepared. The portions are generous (which, incidentally is quite a contrast from those served at Satay). May I suggested the chicken stuffed squid topped with coconut curry, and the nasi goreng. Really this place is an absolute delight and a "must try". Bogie
