Yeah, that's it. I used to cook there. It's a pretty good reliable meal for not too much cash, plus you get all you can eat hush puppies, beans, and slaw with everything. It's about the only place I know of in town where the cole slaw has a oil & red wine vinegar dressing rather than a mayo base. Really good. The best deal is the Wednesday and Thursday special, AYCE popcorn shrimp for $7.95. No, I don't still work there, and hopefully will never have to go back, but they do have some OK food. Also a really beautiful perpetually broken antique Wurlitzer.

Funny story about the clean bathrooms... We were always getting health code violations on the bathrooms for every conceivable reason other than dirtiness. First, the handicapped stall was not of regulation width. Then, the hot water was not up to regulation temperature (yes, they check this). After the bathroom was expanded to widen up the handicapped stall it became larger than a certain size which required a floor drain or something, which wasn't there. But it was always clean...

If you ever go to the south location, get the blackened catfish, it's outstanding. They don't have it at the north location, though.

If you went on a Friday, that's not too surprising. There's nowhere around that can supply them with enough fresh catfish to get them through a Friday night so at some point on busy days they generally break into the frozen fish, which is smaller and tastes a lot worse. Do their menus still contain the BS line "Always Fresh, Never Frozen!"?

They're fillets sliced in half diagonally. I agree that the plates are not the largest but most people get the AYCE, and the rest are usually full of the hush puppies.
