You must try Threadgill's at least once. It is a "home-style" cooking restaurant and real good! Refills on veggies, so you won't go away hungry! I is just south of Airport Blvd (the street where Highland Mall is...) on North Lamar. The original County Line Barbeque (on the Lake) used to be great, but I have heard that it is variable now. You might try the Salt Lick, instead. Good luck and good eating!

Taping for City Limits is in the fall at the University of Texas. The shows are aired in the spring. I don't know what you need to do to obtain tickets. The address is KLRU-TV, 2504-B Whitis, Austin, TX, 78705. The phone number is (512) 471-4811.

I hope you have a great visit!!
