To the party wanting great places to eat in Nashville, I can offer several suggestions. The West End area has some of the best resturants in Nashville. On West End Avenue: Julian's (five star), Houston's, The Cooker and the 32 Street Grill are all near Vanderbilt campus. Off 21st Avenue: Granite Falls, The San Antonio Taco Company, O'Charley's (great carmel pie) and Faisons (pronounced Fazons) are all recommended. Downtown there is Mere Bulles, a quaint wine bar and Windows on the Cumberland, an earthy vegetarian place. A Nashville must is the Loveless Cafe. Known for its red eyed gravy and biscuits, the Loveless is a once in a lifetime experience. Go easy on the country ham as it is salty. Good luck and enjoy!
