Thanks for any responses... For BBQ try Corky's. Theirs is a "wet" while the Rendevous is a "dry rub". I had a very bad experience at the latter and can not recommend it. I hope this helps. \\--Jim K.--// __________________________________________________________________________ Jim Konkel - Internet: [email removed] CIS: 74756,445 Check out the following homepages: PORTLAND PIRATES (AHL): http://www.mainelink.net/pirates PORTLAND SEA DOGS (AA - Eastern League): http://www.mainelink.net/seadogs JOIN DUCKS UNLIMITED, INC. Good Restaurants in Memphis?
I don't know what bad experience was had at the Rendevous, they are still the definitive dry ribs, but also try John Wills for BBQ north of Poplar Avenue in East Memphis, Pauletts in Overton Square is also good, best place in town is Chez Phillipe in the Peabody hotel, but plan to spend the entire evening and a lot of bucks (it is a once in a lifetime experience, a world class restaurant).
