I was driving by and noticed the 'Grand Opening' sign. It's a nice large place, advertises both Sushi and Seafood + Steak. Allegedly, it is not related to Akai Hana in Chicago. The chef looked Korean to me. I tried a simple sushi sampler (California Roll, four nigri - Salmon, Tuna, White Tuna and yellowtail, Miso and salad). I wasn't really hungry, just wanted to check out the place. Sushi was slightly better than average. The only new and surprising item was the White Tuna. Boy, that was amazing fish. Soft, light and amazingly delicious. I am not sure what kind of fish that came from (perhaps Albacore Tuna), but, it was awesome. The Chef gave me a couple of extra pieces of White Tuna Sashimi to try out. Apparently, it is only sold by one small company and none of the large sushi fish companies (Eg Rainbow) sell it. Decent service. But, then most Japanese/Korean places have decent service. If I go back, it will be for the White Tuna. Sajjad ps: It new and I can't find the address online. It's on the east side Rand Rd, near the Prospect Heights Dominicks. There is a bicycle store right next to it.

Kuni's on Main street in Evanston has it regularly (between Chicago and Hinman Aves)
