Ted: Last summer we spent about a week in Barcelona. First of all-- if you've never ben there, prepare yourself for an amazing city. Truly beautiful. Also-- NO ONE goes to dinner much before 10:00pm Try these places CAN SOLÉ C/ Sant Carles 4 08003 Barcelona (Great seafood) EL TROBADOR Enric Granados, 122 08006 Barcelona (off of Av. Diagonal; crowded, but fun) RESTAURANTE ESTEVET C/ Valldoncella 46 08001 Barcelona (A tad off the beathen path; 'hood is a tad funky, but quite safe. No frills place with nice menu) Enjoy, Josiah Josiah Gluck Music Engineering DVD Production New York, NY USA From [email removed] Wed Mar 19 08:08:21 EST 2003 Article: 57165 of rec.food.restaurants

One thing is for sure, there's shortage of good resaurants there, though I didn't enjoy the smaller places in Barcelonetta - I felt it was geared for weekenders and pricy for what you got. On place I've visited a few times is 'Brasserie Flo' -http://www.bcn-guide.com/flo- food, service and settings, it's all there.
