I have heard of and been to Abbots. It was 15 years ago. At that time it was popular with the locals for its reasonable prices and tasty, tasty lobsters. You could bring your own potato salad, cole-slaw and eat at their picnic tables. Custy's I have only heard about, many mnay times. Used to be about $40 for all you can eat in 3 hours. People eat over a dozen lobsters. I believe that it is on the Connecticut side of the Newport bridge. I am sure someone else has more current information.
