There are so many great places to eat here, it is hard to list them all. For pizza, the WORLD's greatest is at Taconelli's on Somerset St. in the Port Richmond section. Don't go too late in the evening as they are known to run out of dough due to popularity!

For a real good sample of all things Philadelphia, get on over to the Reading Terminal Market under the PA Convention Center. There you can get our Bassett's ice cream, hoagies, oyster stew, scrapple, soft pretzels, and Pennsylvania Dutch cooking served up by Amish merchants who come in from Lancaster County. You'll also find the clientele represents almost every economic and ethnic group in the city. Nice experience. Come hungry.
