Pizza opened here in Walnut Creek, CA a while ago I my wife and I find the food to be quite good... we go to other Calif. pizza type rest. like Bucci's in Emeryville (great if you are coming to the Bay Area and don't know it,) and Olive's, etc. I like the salads and pastas... not chain-like in flavor or style... I think they know that if they did take after the Olive Garden they wouldn't last in the pizza biz... The service here is quite good... it may vary from state to state. I find the pizza upstairs at the cafe at Chez Panisse and Bucci's to be some of the best around; also Rustica in Berkeley (not trying to be too Calif. here, so no more digressions,) but CA Pizza Kitch. runs a close 2nd in taste and quality... especially the duck and the prawn pizzas...
