I travel a lot and like to seek-out pizza joints in the cities I visit. I'm looking for recommendations on places to go for good 'za. If you know of a good local spot (no large chains like Pizza Hut or Little Caesars), please reply. Here is the type of information I'm looking for:

Restarant Name:
City:

If you've got the time...

Phone Number:
Address:
Type of Pizza (Chicago Stype/Stuffed, NY Style/Thin, etc):
Price Range:
Best choice:
Comments:

I'll even start the ball rolling with a couple of my favorites:

Superossa
Chicago, IL
Chicago Style (obviously)
$13-$20
Best Choice: Definitely "The Lasagna." It's not the pasta dish, it's a massive stuffed pizza. Ricotta, spinach, tomato sauce, and a double corn-meal crust are layered to an impressive 1 1/2" depth. Comments: Superossas are located mainly in the suburbs.

TestaRossa
210 E Broadway
Seattle, WA
(206) 328-0878
Stuffed Pizza
$15-$25
Best Choice: Spinach & Roasted Garlic
Comments: A very nice restaurant with reasonable prices. Outstanding service.

Thanks,
Patrick

have had
                         outside NY)

2. Joe Bologna's
    Lexington, KY

Type of pizza: both Deep dish and thin crust

	Mona Lisa Pizza
	1200-block on Royal
	New Orleans, Louisiana

	Sicily's Pizza
	Sherwood Forest Blvd.
	Baton Rouge, Louisiana

	Benny Tudino's Pizza
	6th & Washington Streets
	Hoboken, New Jersey

The first two are incredible; Benny's you just have to experience.

Any pizza-conscious individul MUST put New Haven, CT on their travel itinerary. There is one street (Wooster St?) where the best pizza joints are located.

My personal fav:

Restarant Name: Sallie's
City: New Haven, CT

Very thin crusted pizza. Famous for their white clam pizza. Long wait almost anytime you go.

Also a few doors down:

Pepe's
New Haven, CT

Almost as good, but since it is slightly larger, sometimes the wait is shorter.

When in Cherry Point, NC try out (and I am not kidding about these names) Mario's in Havelock, and Luigi's in Morehead City. Two brothers who moved down from 'Da Bronx'. The best to be had between Virginia and Florida.

In Detroit: Buddy's Pizza at the corner of McNichols -aka 6 Mile Rd- and Conant (go to the orig location rather than the 'satellites' all over the region) The pizza is Detroit-styled square deep-dish and is 1st rate. Also VG is Loui's Pizza on Dequindre nr 9 Mile Rd in Hazel Park (a suburb) ... Louis is the original cook from Buddy's.

I would like to tell you of the best Pizza place in Atlanta. It would have to be Everybody's Pizza. There are two locations in the city - one on North Highland and one in Emory Village - both being very close to the downtown area. They serve every type imaginable - topping, crust, etc. You will also find very good pasta dishes and other fare. The beer selection on tap is also quite wonderful!!

It comes highly recommended if you ever visit Atlanta.

I have lived here all my life, trust me nother compares to it in the city!
