The mussels are fab, indeed ... but watch it with the fries. I once ordered mussels and the fab fries at the bar, and saw the waitress lift a fry off my plate and to her lips before she handed the plate to the bartender, who then placed the dish in front of me! When I told the bartender that I couldn't accept a dish that had been violated by the fingers of the waitress (All right, so I said something like, "Yo! That chick touched my fries!" but who's counting?!), her jaw dropped ever so slightly and she promptly told the waitress to get me another order. Of course, the waitress probably brought back the same order, with the added bonus of some carefully applied sputum ... but the bartender was cool. It was appalling at the time (this was oh so many months ago, back when coats and scarves were necessary), and now still appalling though tinged with an amusing anecdotal charm!
