A friend and I went to the new Taj Mahal on Atwood last Friday for dinner. We were both familiar with the food from the Taj Mahal lunch truck on Thackeray which is owned by the same couple, so we expected the food to be good and it was. The main courses are very reasonable, but I was appalled at the price for a glass of lassi. They were charging as much as Star of India or India Garden. That was my only complaint. (As far a I am concerned ALL the Indian restaurants charge WAY too much for lassi!) Anyway, the food is great at Taj Mahal, I just wish there were a bigger selection. I'm sure that will come when they are better established. I hope everyone will give them a try. Kate
