IMHO, the best Indian food I've had in the 'burgh has been from the Taj
Mahal takeout van parked on Thakeray street in Oakland. I think its a
lot better than the restaurant fare I've had at virtually all of the
restaurants. The 'parathas', thick tortillas with stuffing, are really
excellent. And at three bucks for a lunch, its a real deal.

PS: I'm Indian, so maybe I'm fussier than the general public public
 about Indian fare
