Re: the Prima Donna. Am I missing something. Was there first time
about two months ago. Was OK but not worth all the press it has been
getting in this news group. As far as Italian restaurants in Pgh go
there are alot as good and more alot better. Don't get me wrong, was
fine but not exceptional. What am I missing.

Another restaurant that has left me disappointed after hearing much
about it is the Kandel Keller in McMurray.

 Any other thoughts?

 good Italian around here:

Bravo, up in the north hills off of McNightmare Rd.. Can be a little
expensive, but portions are usually huge and very, very tasty.

I agree, Davio is good. Porta Bella is also good. There is a great one in
Traffard, I think it's name is Johnny's but not sure. Good greens and beans
 appetizer.

 I'll think of others

It's not an Italian place, per se, but Roxies Cafe in the South Hills
Village Mall has marinara sauce to die for, serves fresh crusty bread
with pepper and olive oil, and will bring you out some of their balsamic
vinegarette dressing to dip the bread in if asked.
