It's a smallish place, I'd guess about a dozen tables. The decor is OK, but not at the level of, say, Caffe Giovanni. Call it cozy. It's been open for about two months. The food was excellent. I had a dish of veal in a wine sauce with mushrooms and sundried tomatoes that was better than anything I've had at Pasta Piatto, and as good as anything at Giovanni. I recall prices for main courses being in the $14-$18 range. The prices, while reasonable by NY/DC/SF/LA standards, make the restaurant more expensive than anything else in Squill, save perhaps Poli. I hope this doesn't hurt them. I highly recommend trying it. -omar- +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ omar ghattas, associate professor internet: [email removed] computational mechanics lab http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~oghattas dept of civil and env engineering office: 412.268.2949 carnegie mellon university home: 412.441.5940 pittsburgh, pa 15213, usa fax: 412.268.7813 +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+
