 Well, how about Cannonsburg?

Sarris's chocolate factory/Ice cream parlour is just off the

Bruster's extra thick milkshakes are the best I've found. Their ice cream
is superior to any I've found in Pittsburgh and they make a milkshake using
vanilla ice cream, flavored syrup, and milk which always produces a better
flavor than simply using the weaker flavored ice cream to flavor the milkshake.
They will of course use any type of ice cream that you want--I find that a
chocolate milkshake made with mint chocolate chip ice cream provides a good
chocolate mint shake. They're also thick enough to require a bit of effect
to suck up through the straw which is how I prefer them.

In Greenfield off of Beechwood Blvd just across the Greenfield Bridge
(over 376) from Schenley Park. It's in a small shopping plaza with
 the Silk Pagoda.

There is a Dairy Delite in Munhall on Homestead-Duquesne Road, at the cemetary,
that makes the best extra thick hot fudge milkshakes. Only problem is, they
are closed from Oct. to April.
