I can't speak for the North Hills Arrostoria, but the one in McMurray
(South Hills) has good, moderately priced Italian food. The trademark
sauce is spicy (maybe too spicy for some), and they serve some
interesting dishes. My favorite is the ravioli -- one huge ravioli! They
also serve a good, heavy bread, and they give you a little loaf to take
 home. Recommended!

HAD good, moderately-priced Italian food. Sadly, they are no longer
open. I'm not exactly sure why -- I don't know what kind of business
they had at lunchtime, but they were always pretty crowded at dinner-
time. Their food may have been _too_ moderately-priced.

They stopped giving away the bread a few months before they closed. I'm
pretty sure the North Hills restaurant is still open, but I don't know
whether or not they give away the bread.

I had a very enjoyable meal at Tuscan Inn back in the early fall. We
went on a Wednesday night; there was a acoustic guitarist/singer who
provided the music for the evening.

The place is far more casual than I would have guessed by the review in
Pittsburgh magazine. It's like a big old house whose first floor was
turned into a restaurant. The main room has a bar in the front center,
an open kitchen in the rear, and additional seating (other than the main
room) in little alcoves off to the side. Kind of a rustic feel to it.

It's been long enough that I only have two primary memories of the place.
One, the presentation was quite nice. Two, the grilled tuna I ordered was
done the way my dad likes it: just a bit pink in the center. Oh actually,
I remember liking the bread too. It was either foccacia or something very
 close to it.

I keep meaning to go back, but that north in the North Hills is kinda out
 of the way.
