Sure -- the Himalayan/Tibetan Restaurant on Forbes (next to Kiva Han,
near Meyran) has a HUGE selection (relatively, anyway) of Vegan dishes.
Some of my favorites are dofu sesha (bean curd with mushrooms and
broccoli), the vegetable momo (steamed or fried dumplings), tsel
shogok ngopa (sliced potatoes with spinich), and Himalayan khaza
(potatoes, peas, and an outta sight hot sauce -- served cold). Their
prices are excellent, and the serving size is pretty good. For a great
deal, go during lunch hours -- 11:00 to 3:00. Order a lunch combo. It
comes with whatever meal you order, fried or steamed rice, soup of the
day (always vegetarian, usually vegan), and tang tsel salad (shredded
veggies with a light dressing of vinegar and sesame oil -- yum!). Also,
jasmine tea is free with meal. I guarantee you'll LOVE it!
