I don't know about other pastas, but the marinara sauce at The Roxy Cafe
in South Hills Village mall is the best I've had in Pittsburgh. Now, I
normally don't like restaurant marinara sauce (I'm real picky about the
spices and freshness of ingredients), but all the fixings were fresh,
with chunks, and nicely spiced. The Roxy also serves loaves of bread
with a plate of garlic/olive oil (by default), or balsamic vinegarette
 dressing (on request)

Not quite what was asked for, I know, but definately worth a mention.
