I've been there once. Its a bar/restaurant with a nice
selection of about 50 micro brews in bottles and about
a dozen beers on tap. They have a small/medium sized menu.
Some of the fish dishes looked interesting. However, our party
ended up ordering either burgers or pizza. Both were
good but not great. The atmosphere is very casual, not
at all fancy. We were there on Halloween and all the staff
was dressed for the occasion and seemed enthusiastic.
Overall I liked the place and would return if I got out more,
but wouldn't rank it as one of my favorites. Its more appropriate for
a casual dinner than fine dining.

The one time I was there, we had a chicken sandwich that was mediocre,
and a portobello mushroom sandwich that was absolutely delicious.
Good choice of beers. Extremely casual place.

I went there in the Fall, and was quite impressed with the menu, which was
promising, but unfortunately the food did not live up to it. I had
pumpkin gnocchi that was at best mediocre, and my wife ordred pesto
ravioli that we think was made with dried basil. The beer selection was
 good, I will say that.
I don't know when the revamp happened, but at that time it basically had a
bar-like atmosphere: TV going, few tables, paper placemats.

Sorry to say anything unkind, but that was our one-time experience. Maybe
 it was an off night.

I was there Saturday (1/27). The atmosphere is casual but
interesting. The food was good to excellent (spinach gnocci was good,
spinach raviolli was excellent but there wasn't enough of it, and the
fish was excellent). The beer selection doesn't rival some other
Pittsburgh spots in volume (Mad Mex, etc.), but the list was high
quality. (They do serve Coors light, but I suppose I can forgive them
for that.) We spoke with the owners; both are pleasant and interested
in any suggestions you may have. All in all, it was a very good
experience, and I'll be back there again.

 Be well.
