Until now I did not bother with the Mexican chains. One occasion in the McKnight location deserves a mention. The unthinkable happened. After waiting for the food, long enough to finish a beer, a manager came to the table and in an amusing way apologized for the delay. This I'm sorry to say, was the first in a Pittsburgh restaurant. Apparently the order was misplaced and later found. The manager insisted that the food be on him. Because of how it was handled, I was reluctant to accept it, but did. Needless to say, the food was up to the standard, and really so was the service. The manager visited the table several times, to make sure there were not other glitches. What a refreshing experience in Pittsburgh dining. Regards, Rich ----------- Rich Koziol mailto:[email removed]
