the one in squirrel hill, adjacent to dumpling houser (and under the
same management) is great. their prices are reasonbable, and you get
big portions. as an added bonus, you can also order from the dumpling
house menu, so you can take non-sushi friends as well :)

Since then the quality of their food has dropped considerably and the service is quite poor. We have also found their owner (the older woman) to be fairly rude. After our last experience there, I am afraid we won't return. Siouxsie
Hi, My vote goes to Little Tokyo in Mt. Lebanon. Excellent sushi. The best spicy tuna rolls I've had ANYWHERE. The service is great. And the other dishes I've had there all have been good. Ed

For the Traveller: My Best Thai - The restaurant in the Grace Hotel in Bangkok My Best Sashimi - Kimo's Restaurant in Kaneohe, HI My Best Mongolian BBQ - In the Chinese Cultural Center in Honolulu My Best Lumpia - Any street vendot in Olongapo, of course!
The best place for sushi is without question: Sushi Two, and Sushi Too. 'Two' is in the 2200 block of East Carson Street on the Southside, and 'Too' is on Walnut Street in Shadyside. They have the same menu, same owners. The service is outstanding, the atmosphere is authentic and aesthetic, the food is incredible. They make all their sushi fresh to order. They get all fish fresh from the airport every day. They have an outstanding selection of vegetable/non-fish sushi. They make fresh Misoshiru every day. They also have many other Japanese dishes. There are a variety of imported and domestic beers, including Sapporo from Japan. There is simply no better Japanese restaurant in Pittsburgh. Particularly, I'd avoid the sushi place in Station Square. It's overpriced and the food is mediocre.
