I think that the 'professional' critics like this place. I have only eaten there once and have no plans to go back. I'd call it a 'contemporary bistro' Entree prices were fair. They hired a decorator to give the place that 'sophisticated big city look" The kitchen is exposed to the dining room as I recall. (Not my idea of chic, unless you really love that stainless steel comercial appliance look) I didn't think the food was all that great, it was too oriented around trendy ingredients and not focused on end product or taste. I had a fish dish of some sort. The person I was with had something vegetarian, possibly pasta (this was a while back) Niether was good enough to entice me back. I don't remember any appetizers or salads, but the desert we had, a chocolate something, wasn't very good and was overpriced. I can't comment on the service other than it doesn't stand out in my mind as being any better or worse than your average restaurant. Its probably worth a try though. J.E.D
