Bloomfield Bridge Tavern

We had dinner at the Bloomfield Bridge Tavern last night. They feature
large portions of very reasonably priced Polish food (and a few other
things, like ribs). I had the Polish Platter, which included a perogi,
a stuffed cabbage, a noodles and cheese dish (the name of which I've
forgotten but which was similar to spoetzl), noodles and cabbage, and
kielbosi. The price for this was $5.95 and it was all quite good. I
also had their wedding soup. While I've had better at Italian
 restaurants, theirs was quite reasonable.

They also feature over 100 varieties of beer. I had a Celebrator
Double Bock and a Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout. Both were very good.

It's a small place, but the decor is nice. (Though the neighborhood
bar decor seems to clash a bit with the rock bands that play their on
Friday night. I imagine the place is very crowded on Friday's, but
since I'd rather not eat dinner in a crowded, noisy place, I haven't
 been there on a weekend.)
